04-06 NOVEMBER 2024
This blended course offers the flexibility to move ahead with your studies before attending for practical training.
Practical training takes place in Cape Town where we now have the dream team for canine hydrotherapy training. We already have a long-standing association with our training partner Lorren Barham from Pet Wellness Worx. And we are now joined by Dr. Tanya Grantham from Animal Health and Hydro who has kindly provided her facilities and input for this course.
There are only ten practical training places available for this course so please register early to avoid disappointment.
This is a Continuing Professional Development course covering gait assessment and advanced skills in water treadmill and canine hydrotherapy. We will cover case selection, advanced handling and problem solving. If you have a complex case load this course will give you the knowledge to adapt techniques to gain the best possible gait and rehabilitation outcomes using the water treadmill. Online lectures, all course materials, three attendance days and provision of practice dogs are all included. CPD accreditation with SA Veterinary Council is in the application process.
Your pre-study is provided via Moodle, our online education platform. Practical training takes place at Animal Health and Hydro in Cape Town – animalphysicalrehab.co.za. AHAH is in association with Animal Physical Rehab in Cape Town.
